The ROSE in you!

Since today is the last day of february, the month of love, I would like to share with you this story shared by Diane Aquino. I'm so blessed hope you will be too.

The Rose Within

A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfully and before it blossomed, he examined it.
He saw the bud that would soon blossom, but noticed thorns upon the stem and he thought, "How can any beautiful flower come from a plant burdened with so many sharp thorns? Saddened by this thought, he neglected to water the rose, and just before it was ready to bloom... it died.

So it is with many people. Within every soul there is a rose. The God-like qualities planted in us at birth, grow amid the thorns of our faults. Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the defects.
We despair, thinking that nothing good can possibly come from us. We neglect to water the good within us, and eventually it dies. We never realize our potential.

Some people do not see the rose within themselves; someone else must show it to them. One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns of another, and find the rose within them.

This is one of the characteristic of love... to look at a person, know their true faults and accepting that person into your life... all the while recognizing the nobility in their soul. Help others to realize they can overcome their faults. If we show them the "rose" within themselves, they will conquer their thorns. Only then will they blossom many times over.

Just bump to a friend's site for a visit then noticed its CC time once again and today's topic is 'When he told me he loves me'

Okay, Do I need to run down and review my emails from him so I know when and what letter he wrote the 3 magic words? heheh. Oh so bad I can't remember. Since we knew each other through mails and phonecalls I can't remember exactly when he told me he loves me. But in my part, I knew I love him before I met him:) Oh, wait! it was me I think who said it first. Oh men... I was so westernize, tsk,tsk! Swedes usually don't say that words until they mean it! And until they really knew the girl very well. So, I know he didn't say it right away even if my picture strucks him already from the very beginning:) And we filipinas won't either but I think I did because I was informed by my aunts that they also like it most if we are open to what we feel.

Hmm..I'll ask my husband..wait!

Me: Honey, do you remember when you said you love me?
My husband : Yup, when you said on one of your letter that you love me!

waaaaaa! I knew it! Ok, atleast I was so happy because even if I dared to say it first, he responded right away that he also do love me long before:) And he don't waste his time writing and sending me money for net cafe so I can reply if he didn't love me from the start!

CC# 16.. Valentines Day!!!

Couple's Corner's theme for the day is " Plans for Valentines Day" ..hmmm well, well, well! We actually have plans for this coming Feb 14, Sunday! Unconciously, every valentines day since me and my husband were together, we always went out as far as I can remember. Maybe because I arrived here and started our lives in FEBRUARY, way back 2006, and our first celebration was in snowy norway, 2007 we had a double date with our couple friend at the Mongolian Restaurant, 2oo8, we had a family date only the three of us went out to a chinese resto here:) And last year we had it at our friend's house...:) Where we shares our lives as couples! It was a good idea I think!!! And we had fun!

Actually, we just talked last sunday with my aunt and her husband if we could go out together on Valentines Day:) Last December we recieved a gift from EUROBONUS, its a company that gives points on plane tickets everytime we travel. And trip to Philippines gave us a very high points the reason we got this bonus. It's from World's Kitchen gift certificate. We can choose from any restaurants arround whole Sweden and its for two person. This is good until February 18, so, since, we were already packed up with so many parties last december, we decided to use this on Valentines! We never know which restaurant we gonna be but my husband was suggesting of going to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden and spent our valentines there with this free special dinner:) Hmm..nice idea right? Exciting! I'm not sure yet but this is so far our tentative plan in this year's heart's day!!!

Couple's Corner# 14.. Have I told you lately...?

Weeee..."Have I told you lately that "I love You:)" is the topic for today's CC! well, well, well! As I roam around reading other's love stories... I love it..I mean I learned many things about this thing called LOVE:)

This Three Letter Word are so heartwarming to hear and we are not "suppose" get tired hearing and saying this. But these words became so common that we tend to forget the importance of it. Like other couple here in "Couple's Corner" me and my husband are fond of saying these words to each other. It was not planned, we don't have a deal, we didn't talk about it, it just came naturally. Wherever, whatever and whenever. Like every phonecalls and text messages, always ends up with these magic words whatever the topic on your conversation:) hehe.

Before when we still have no child and had all the time at home and even until when I've got my baby and no other thing to do but attending my girl, I usually woke up early with him and prepare everything for him before he'll go to work, then at the door..as in he's outside and i'm inside, and I was like holding the door and kissing with words.. i love you, have a nice day, take care, ses snårt :) (see you soon). That was everyday.(We still do it now when I woke up with him). And when we are in bed and maybe do something else like talking and or playing with our girl or something lovely:)wink*.. we make sure or automatically we say good night , love you of course the kisses before we went to sleep.

But when I got already so much to do, like school and working late, I cannot wake up with him anymore. I rather prepare his lunch box the night before and sleeping until 8 or 9am. My husband get up 5am;) and go out to work at 6am. But one thing HE never forget and he cannot go without, is kissing and hugging me while am still at the bed just to say 'hej då så länge älskling' ", love you" mwaah! and of course, who can't wake up on that:) so even i'm in bed, i always hug back and say love you, drive safely and Godbless today!!! Thats for always!!!

LATELY, after that saturday meeting with the new couple.. (my cousin who just arrived here to live with her husband) When we get home, we had a talk with my hubby about what we noticed about them..we are always like that, we talk about the whole day's happenings. Anyway, we saw ourselves before on them when I also arrived here. We have the same feelings...we were reminiscing our selves how it was when we finally be together. THEN HE HUG ME TIGHT AND KISSED ME.., and said "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH Mrs. Janeth Björlin" And that will be forever. Oh my, I tell you, it was not the usual love yous that we shared everyday. This is not the first time he said that kind of IloveYou, but LATELY he blurted it again:) Me??? whoa, I always did and I mean it everytime! I'm an extrovert so I always told him how thankful and lucky I am to be loved by Him. And that I so love loving him.

Everytime I'm angry and feel bad on him.., While crying I'll say; "I love You Älskling" to remind me and him that even if we fight and I have this kind of feelings, the love that I have for him never change:) huhu.. Have a lovely CC everyone! teary nako..got to end up here:)
