So much to be THANKFUL for !

Everyday we meet a new different day than yesterday! And every time we woke up we will never know what that day brings. All we can hope and pray is a great and a wonderful day. But this is for a normal daily life situation. Know that there are many people who almost know what their days will be. They are those who are in a situation wherein everyday is fighting for survival, fighting for their life! They are those who are going through hard situation in life. What they know, their days will be as hard if not worst than the day before.

I was once in that kind of situation, I was suffering a hard day everyday right the time I must wake up! I had a heavy heart even just thinking of my day and my prayers were for the Lord to sustain me on the days ahead!

Then One day when I woke up and stretch out my arms then start praying as I do in my morning routine, I began to change my kind of prayers! I started thanking God for the things that I thought it was okay on that time, like, for my breath, for the rest and a few hours sleep I had in the night, for my husband, for my kids, for the roof in my head to keep us warm in the night and when I began to innumerate, I realised there were so much more to be grateful for, while I also felt there were also so much hardship in this world. And it only takes one part in your life in testing to forget these great major things we have, that worth of thanksgiving!

From that time on, I continued innumerating the things I have to thank for, then it became more and more that I couldn't count anymore until I realised that even those hardships and unwelcome happenings in my life I already learned to thank about it knowing it has a great part for my purpose!

If right now, you are in a situation that the world call it as 'bad' and 'sad', try to being thankful about it! Try to lift up the things -you might find it only few  that are okay in your life, start there! Then you will experience the magic of gratefulness!

The housewagon is ON!

Last weekend, we had really fun putting up my MILs house wagon, together with the whole family! This camp site really is wonderful. The people are so friendly and always happy! Thats why its been always exciting everytime!

Saturday, they started putting up the tent..it was not easy and took time. Only my husband, his sister with her hubby and my MiL did most of the things. I was just there watching the children and enjoying the gentle breeze around the site! I love the sorroundings..so cool and calm!

Sunday.., they were putting up the things needed for the whole season. The table and chairs, refregerator, microwave oven and lot more! as usual they did most of the things because they are big and strong hahah.. I just prepared the food... grill again this time! hahhah.
What a life while watching the grill to be ready... I was enjoying the smell of the sun and its heat..hahhah!!! Wohooo! the house wagon is ON and our first dinner together at the wagon on this season! It's gonna be fun and I think we will spend most of our weekends here:)

Enjoying the sun and snow!!!

I was not able to went out yesterday, saturday...yes I did maybe 2minutes outside, I suppose to go to the library to get my reserved book, then went back inside because just the time I went out from the main door of our apartment, snow storm met me and I was like blown away..almost:) So I went up again and decided to just stay home that day! When my darlings came home, (they were at Laikka's classmate's birthday party), my husband said that almost all busses and trains stops and cannot travel because of the hard snow.

But today...wow! the sun shines and it's a good weather even if the snow are so thick! So, we thought its good to go out and enjoy the sun and snow outside. So, right after our brunch, I look and took out my winter pants while my husband was fixing and putting up the Dining Room Tables we just got from our friend last weekend. So, when everything were done and ready, we went out to have a family bonding around our snowy sorrounding!

Oh, we had really fun. It was one of our best time this season. I believe, our reactions on everything that are happening is just a state of the mind! If we think its hard and boring weather with so much snow then it can be, but if we make it or do something great out of it, then it will be! Whatever the season is if you just want to enjoy the moment then it will be great!!!

HOmE sweet HOME!!!

After a long week this past week , me and my husband got a very good massage yesterday together with my aunt and her husband! Since we had and still have a hard snow these past days, I thought I could no longer make it until friday! I was already dead tired last wednesday, I got body pains and mentally drained.Huh, I don't want to go outside anymore, but I had to and thank God I made it! I got a long sleep last night and don't want to go away from home this weekend..just want to be home, cleaning and fixing at home, time with my girl and just resting!

Since, I don't need to hurry up, I get up on bed at 10am, do some laundry then I helped my daughter cleaning up her messy room:) Then I fixed a good BRunch which is friend rice with fried egg (sunny side up). We usually eat just bread for breakfast and I don't need to do anything. But I'm pure housewife today so its good to have a little change:) I really love times like this:)

After eating we do some house cleaning then while my husband was doing his hair, I also clip my daughters hair as I promised her yesterday. She's been complaining that she could no longer see because her hair covers her eyes:) See the haircutting on her site:)

Happy weekend!! Its refreshing to be just home once in a while:)

How about Last Weekend???

Since, I'm on my day off monday and tuesday, I had no chance to share my weekend yet but today. Last saturday was the celebration of my aunt's husband's birthday:) He is the man who helped me and my husband met each other:) He is my husband's good friend and a kind husband to my aunt and a very helpful family member of our whole family in pinas!

Last January 20 marks his __ th birthday:) And last saturdy his wife prepared a very simple party for him just for all of us - family who are here in this foreign land. Specially our new couple already with us:) my cousin who just arrive was able to join with the celebration too. But her "welcome party" still under planning so lets just wait:)

Still so much food prepared even we were just four families and plus one new couple:)

Eat all you can..heheh! chatting while eating:) Dessert time:) with carrot cake, fruit salad, ice cream cake, 'bibingka' and of course paired with coffe or tea:)

Our new baby is home:)

I don't understand what I feel upon seeing my new little cutie niece's picture who was born just a week ago. As I posted lately that another girl in the family just born on 9/11..heheh prominent date. But then when I talked before with my mother, unfortunately she was not able to give any picture yet.

But today, baby Cara just came home at my parent's house. They will stay there for a while. I can feel how happy my parents are. They put the baby to the camera so we can see her also..oh so cute! The longing to have another one was ignited. Hehe. My husband wants to send a gifts for the baby so I ask my sister-in-law what she wants, either money or things for the baby and she chose things;) So I will start looking for baby's things, accessories and the like so we can send a package as soon as possible;)
Oh...so cute isn't it? Isn't she lovely??? Ahehhe.
